We are a small Non-Profit, No-Kill 501 (c )(3) animals rescue, licensed in Florida and Georgia, that is dedicated to making a BIG difference in the lives of animals scheduled for euthanasia. Even with the economy at its worst, we will never give up and will do everything in our power to achieve to our goal of opening a no-kill facility.
In the past 5 years we have successfully placed over 5,500 animals.
Save-A-Life Pet Rescue, INC. rescues puppies and dogs of all ages and breeds. We focus on puppies under six months, heart worm positive mothers and adults. We have big hearts for animals that are extremely malnourished and abused. We rescue all puppies and adults regardless of medical problems. We treat mange, parvo, distemper, corona, influenza, kennel cough, broken bones, liver shunts, etc. We also take in blind and deaf animals. No problem is too big or too small.
We are a true no-kill animal rescue.
We believe that every animal deserves a second chance at a long, happy and healthy life. We believe that educating people from hands on experience will help end some euthanizing of once "deadly diseases" that CAN be treated. We urge adopters, possible adopters or anyone to please contact us if you need advice or a low cost vet recommendation.
We also have successfully treated over 300 adult dogs with heartworms.
In 2008 we were blessed with a wonderful group of high school volunteers wanting to earn community service hours for college. We have joined with the "Bright Futures Scholarship Program" in our local area. All of our high school volunteers have gone above and beyond the hours they needed to earn credit. Their dedication and eagerness to learn has helped us rescue even more animals than before. They have stepped up and are now fostering along with volunteering when they have any free time. We hope to continue to play a BIG role in our local community and surrounding cities in the development of high school opportunities for finical aid assistance.
